Windows Downloads

Download and Install using the Perl Package Manager

Supports both 32-bit and 64-bit Perl:

  1. (ActiveState) ActivePerl 5.8, 5.10, 5.12
  2. Strawberry Perl 5.8, 5.10, 5.12

Open a cmd window by going to Start >> Run and typing 'cmd' and pressing return. Type the following command to download and install:

ppm install http://www.chilkatsoft.com/download/chilkatPerl.ppd

Alternative Zip Download and Manual Install Instructions

(Strawberry Perl installations must use this method for installing.

To install: Download and unzip to "<perl_install_directory>\site\lib". Two files are extracted: chilkat.pm and chilkat.dll. Both must be placed in the "site\lib" directory of your Perl installation. That is all.
